As a Pastor in our community for the past 24 years and former City Councilmember, I have been passionate about serving our community. Thank you for your interest in the City of Chandler.
 
Currently, this is how I am serving our community:

• Commissioner: Planning and Zoning Committee;
• Chair: Chandler’s Complete Count Committee for the 2010 Census;
• Director: “For Our City, Chandler” a faith initiative where faith communities, non profits and the City of Chandler work together to help our city;
• Vice President: Desert Cancer Foundation of Arizona;
• Exec Board Member of CCYSA (Chandler Coalition Against Youth Substance Abuse), a part of ICAN;
• Literacy advocate and BookPALS reader at Galveston Elementary School;
• Math tutor at Frye Elementary School;
• Volunteer and Supporter of Live Love, a grass roots organization of people helping people in Chandler;
• Chandler High School Marching Band dad;
• Volunteer for 2009 and 2010 with the Barness Jewish Community Center;
• Member of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce;
• Member and Volunteer with the Downtown Chandler Community Partnership;
• Member of the Chandler Historical Society.

Past Service

• Chandler Councilmember;

• Board Member: Arrowhead Meadows (Chandler’s 1st organized tradition neighborhood organization);
• Downtown Redevelopment Committee (predecessor to the DCCP)

What am I doing through my service to Chandler?

• Creating and reinforcing an environment where our children and youth have a positive future;
• Collaborating to make Chandler a prosperous city;
• Helping to bring business and dollars to our community;
• Finding alternative ways to meet needs in our community.
